WhatsApp Campaigns
Reach thousands of contacts with targeted WhatsApp broadcasts. SkyLight Chat campaigns include intelligent rate-limiting, number warm-up, and detailed delivery tracking—so your messages land in inboxes, not spam folders.
Purpose
Campaigns let you send the same message (or sequence) to a large audience while protecting your sending reputation. Use them for:
- Promotional blasts — flash sales, new arrivals, exclusive offers.
- Announcements — policy changes, event invitations, company news.
- Re-engagement — win back inactive customers.
- Transactional notifications — shipping updates, appointment reminders.
The system automatically spreads sends over multiple days and scales daily limits as your number "warms up."

| Schedule for later | Pick a date and time (in your account timezone) |
| New number warm-up | Enable if your WhatsApp number is new (< 30 days) for conservative daily limits |
- Review the summary.
- Click Save as Draft to finalize later, or Start Campaign to begin sending.
Understanding daily limits
SkyLight Chat enforces gradual daily sending to protect your number:
| Campaign day | Normal number | New number (warm-up) |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | up to 35 | up to 20 |
| Day 3 | up to 65 | up to 40 |
| Day 5 | up to 65 | up to 60 |
| Day 7+ | up to 120 | up to 90 |
| Day 14+ | up to 200 | up to 200 |
For small campaigns, the limit is capped at ⌈total_contacts / 3⌉ so the campaign finishes in approximately 3 days.
Pausing a campaign
- Open the campaign.
- Click Pause.
- The campaign enters Paused status; no further messages are sent.
- Resume anytime without losing progress.
Resuming a campaign
- Open the paused campaign.
- Click Resume.
- Sending continues from where it left off.
Cancelling a campaign
- Open a Running or Paused campaign.
- Click Cancel.
- Confirm the dialog.
Cancelled campaigns cannot be restarted. Contacts not yet messaged remain un-contacted.
Deleting a campaign
- Only Draft or Cancelled campaigns can be deleted.
- Open the campaign → Delete → Confirm.
