Connect LinkedIn for inbox messaging, invite and sequence outreach, sourcing, Recruiter jobs, and posts.
Use LinkedIn from SkyLight Chat for messaging, invite/sequence outreach, prospect sourcing, Recruiter hiring workflows (when your LinkedIn Recruiter contract is available), and scheduled posts.
Purpose
LinkedIn integration lets you:
- Connect a LinkedIn account (username, password, and 2FA when required)
- Message in the Unified Inbox
- Run outreach — invite-only or invite + follow-up sequences
- Source prospects with search filters and launch campaigns from results
- Manage Recruiter jobs and applicants when a Recruiter contract is detected
- Publish LinkedIn posts (text and media), now or scheduled

Requires a plan with LinkedIn access and the manage_linkedin permission. Recruiter screens need a LinkedIn Recruiter contract on the connected account.

- Plan with LinkedIn channel enabled

Full walkthrough
Connect LinkedIn
- Open LinkedIn → LinkedIn Settings.
- Click Connect.
- Enter LinkedIn username and password.
- Complete 2FA if prompted.
- Confirm status is Connected, then use Sync as needed.
Disconnect from Settings when you need to unlink the session.
Overview
LinkedIn → Overview shows connection health and shortcuts to Inbox, Outreach, Recruiter, and Settings (stats such as contacts, unread, campaigns, and InMail credits when available).
Outreach campaigns
- Go to LinkedIn → Outreach.
- Click New campaign.
- Choose type: Invite or Sequence (invite + follow-ups).
- Add target profile URLs or IDs, optional invite note (keep within LinkedIn length limits), and follow-up steps for sequences.
- Optionally enable warm-up for newer accounts.
- Launch, then pause, resume, or cancel from the campaign detail page while tracking sent / accepted / replied stats.
Sourcing
- Open LinkedIn → Sourcing.
- Search with keywords, title, industry, location, and company filters.
- Select prospects from results.
- Launch campaign using the same invite or sequence model as Outreach.
Recruiter
- Open LinkedIn → Recruiter.
- If no Recruiter contract is detected, the empty state explains that hiring tools stay locked until LinkedIn Recruiter is available on the account.
- When available: Create job (title, company, location, employment/workplace type, description) as draft or publish.
- From a job: publish or close, sync applicants, move stages (
new,reviewing,shortlisted,rejected,hired), run AI screen where enabled, and download resumes.
Posts
- Go to LinkedIn → Posts.
- Create text and optional media.
- Publish now or schedule; cancel pending posts from the list.
Messaging
Use Inbox and filter LinkedIn to reply to conversations.
